ARTIST STATEMENT
I primarily paint seascapes and landscapes. My compositions also frequently include barns, covered bridges, light houses and boats. I enjoy this combination of subjects because of the juxtaposition of man made structures with natural beauty. I use watercolor for these scenes because of the transparency of the medium and its ability to show subtle changes of light. I enjoy sharing my vision of beauty with other people.
